General Store Policies
RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
- Exchanges may be made on unused items with original tags and purchase receipt for store credit or exchange only within 10 days of original purchase.
- Gift returns will be accepted within 30 days of purchase on unused items with original tags and valid gift receipt for store credit or exchange only.
- Store credit will be valid for ONE YEAR following the original issue date. Customer is solely responsible for keeping track of store credit receipt and/or gift card.
- Gift Cards are valid for ONE YEAR following the original purchase date. Customer is solely responsible for keeping track of the gift card.
- All special orders are not eligible for exchange or return. A non-refundable deposit may be required to place a special order.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS:
- There are instances where online and in-store purchases occur simultaneously causing our inventory to be inaccurate. As a result, we are happy to refund/exchange the item(s) that are no longer available. Thank you for understanding!
IN-STORE PICKUP/SHIPPING:
- At this time, online shopping only supports in store pickup. If you need an item shipped please feel free to call the store at (228)206-1912 and we will be happy to assist you with shipping on eligible purchases.
Registry Policies
We are committed to serving you efficiently and effectively during this exciting and busy time. We ask that you take a few minutes to review our policies for handling bridal gifts.
Pick Up: We will call you at the beginning of the week when gifts have been purchased and left at the store for pickup. At this time you can let us know who will be stopping by to pick up the gifts.
Gift Cards: If you receive a gift card for a specific item, you may choose to use that credit to order the item that was gifted OR you may use the amount of the gift card towards your store credit. Gift cards expire 1 YEAR from the time that they are purchased.
Returns, Exchanges, and Store Credit: We will accept returns of any gifts that you receive from Rue Ridge Gifts in exchange for a store credit that you may use towards any in-store purchase.
- Returns and exchanges will be accepted up to 60 days following your wedding date.
- Store credit that is accumulated will expire 1 YEAR from your wedding date.
- Special orders placed are NOT eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.
Special Orders: If you choose to register for dinnerware or flatware, we will order one place setting of each to display for your registry in store and a bulk order for the final amount of pieces will be placed after your event. If someone purchases a place setting or individual pieces, we will issue and wrap a gift card for the specific amount of that gift. Once you are ready to complete your registry, you can combine your gift cards and store credit to place the bulk order of your place settings. This ensures that you are not left responsible for special orders if you change your mind after your event.
Registry Completion: We are happy to offer a 10% registry completion discount to the bride and groom following the event for any registry items that have not already been purchased (some exclusions apply). The registry completion discount may be applied up to 1 year following the wedding date.
